Why a Bar Of Soap?
Ok, the first thing that drew me to the Mind Over Lather business was the Yoga Mat Spray. It wasn’t until after I actually bought the business that I tried the soap! I fell in love at first bubble, head over heels, with the bar of soap! Let me count the ways for you . . .
1) MOIST – This formula incorporates a blend of olive, palm, and coconut oil. It ends up finding the perfect balance but keeps the skin so moisturized leaving behind some of the oils in the skin. I seriously can skip putting coconut oil or body lotion on after I shower with this soap!
2) CHEMISTRY – The chemical process of reacting Lye (NaOH) with Oil is called saponification. It’s fascinating for a chemical nerd like me to get all lab-like in my kitchen.
3) ECO-Friendly – Bar soap doesn’t require a bulky plastic bottle which just ends up in a landfill or hopefully recycled. Most bars are wrapped in paper – a renewable resource!
4) VEGAN & CRAP-FREE – Our soap ingredient list is short and sweet. No extra added chemicals or preservatives. Only what you need and so much healthier than mass made bars of soap which can be drying and harsh! Remember, your skin is your largest organ. Feed it well!
5) BUBBLES – This soap actually lathers and suds up so well and cleans!
6) SCENTS – We have a variety of scented and an unscented soap which is nice for the guys. Clean Slate only contains activated charcoal which helps draw impurities out of the skin. I would even use this on the face.
