Holiday Survival Guide
For what it’s worth, here’s a list we’ve compiled of some tips to help survive what can be the craziest time of the year:
1) Bubbles – Always have a good bottle of wine or bubbles on hand for last minute guests or gifts
2) Don’t neglect your Skin! Wash off make-up every night. Use all natural vegan soaps that are gentle, cleansing, and moisturizing for your skin. The extra moisture is key during the cold months! Follow up with all natural moisturizers such as coconut oil or our Hand & Body Lotion landed with Aloe and Shea Butter.
3) Prime the gut – chug tons of water days before you are about to go to a party where you will be indulging. Water with electrolytes is even better. It doesn’t hurt to help popping extra probiotics too.
4) Lavender Sachets – We are so proud to sell lavender sachets filled with lavender from Northern Michigan. These make sweet & fragrant present toppers! But really, stash ’em everywhere! Place themin your car, near your bed, in your closet. Anywhere you need a whiff of this relaxing set to help you calm down.
5) Hostess Gifts – Always have them on hand & near the door to grab and go! Our Christmas Tree soaps are great go-tos along with our body lotions and full sized bar soaps. (See our previous post for our Holiday Gift Guide)
6) Learn to Say NO – This is our favorite. Learn to say NO. Don’t over extend yourself. Saying No to others is actually saying YES to yourself and your family which is the most important thing. Remember, Less is More.
7) Boost Your Immunity – 7-8 hours of sleep, take some immunity boosting vitamins or herbs (Oregano Oil, Olive Leaf, Vit C, Vit D, Zinc, and/or consult your local health food store)
8) YOGA – Get your @ss to class. Now is the time of year to give yourself the gift of silence and stillness of the mind and body. Connect with the breathe to find some inner peace. Do It on a clean mat with our yoga mat sprays of course which are available in 10 Ommmm-Mazing scents!
And we’d love to hear your suggestions! Lay them on us!
Happiest Holidays to you!
